Mama Brown Twilight Information & Rules
What is Twilight Netball?
Twilight is a 7-a-side Netball Competition run at Hataitai Courts (outdoors) and Ākau Tangi Sports Centre (indoors). Netball Wellington Centre offers Women’s and Mixed grades, with levels from Competitive through to Social. We maintain our fair-play rule throughout this competition and encourage all teams to show these during games. Click the Fair-Play Rule button on the right hand side to learn more.
Games are 40 minutes and are a great way to maintain fitness, meet new people and foster team building within organisations. Our Mama Brown Twilight competition is open to adult teams and college teams (following the age criteria in our rules).
This year we also have forms for umpires and individuals interested in our Twilight leagues.
2024 competitions on offer are;
TERM 1 (SUMMER)
Monday nights (In The Sun) at Hataitai Netball Courts - 8 week competition starts 12 February - 8 April (NO GAMES Mon 1 April - Easter Monday) - Cost $360
Wednesday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 9-week competition starts 7 February – 10 April (NO GAMES Weds 20 March - Futsal tournament) – Cost $550
Thursday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 10-week competition starts 8 February – 11 April – Cost $600
Plus $15 CASH ONLY per team, per game, to be collected prior to the game each week as an Umpire Contribution.

TERM 2 (AUTUMN)
Wednesday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 9-week competition starts 1 May – 3 July (NO GAMES Weds 19 June - Premier Promotion/Relegation) - Cost $550 - FULL
Thursday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 10-week competition starts 2 May – 4 July – Cost $600
Plus $15 CASH ONLY per team, per game, to be collected prior to the game each week as an Umpire Contribution.
