We're on the search for an energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Finance Business Partner to join our Group Finance Team in Wellington.

As a government entity, Sport New Zealand Ihi Aotearoa is proud to be the guardian of our country's play, active recreation and sporting system, from grassroots to elite sport. We do this through partnerships with national sport and recreation organisations, regional sports trusts, central government bodies, councils and other key stakeholders.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the purpose of the Finance Business Partner role is to strengthen the financial management and capability of Sport New Zealand by:-

• Leading the budgeting, management reporting and financial analysis/advisory functions for Sport NZ.
• Partnering with the business and Financial Operations Manager to install and develop financial discipline
• Enhancing financial management capabilities at a managerial level, ensuring managers are supported to deliver on their business plans
• Facilitate managers to appropriately cost, manage and report (financially) on their work programmes to achieve Sport NZ's strategic plan.
