This venue is owned by Netball Wellington Centre and positioned in an easily accessible location with plentiful onsite parking within Hataitai Park, 43 Ruahine Street, Hataitai, Wellington.  

Our venue offers a variety of multi-purpose spaces to enjoy:

• a large upstairs main area seating up to 150 people (200 standing)
• an upstairs boardroom comfortably accommodating up to 20 people
• an upstairs terraced viewing gallery seating up to 100 people
• a small upstairs photo gallery able to accommodate up to 10 people
• a downstairs games room suitable for up to 20 people with kitchenette
• a small upstairs control room overlooking courts - includes microphone, timer & hooter access and seats up to 6 people
• Modern industrial-style kitchen

Flexible options perfect for various use including catering for small gatherings, board or committee meetings, AGMs, prizegivings, workshops, planning days, work or sport gatherings.

Access the following facilities & equipment:

• Kitchen equipped with large oven & hob, large fridge & freezer, microwave, pots & crockery, hot water jugs (additional items may be sourced/hired upon request)
• Downstairs games room kitchenette equipped with sink, oven, fridge, microwave & kettle
• Upstairs main area balcony overlooks courts
• Heating in each area
• Assorted tables & chairs enable room set-up to suit your needs: 4 x trestle tables (seat up to 8 each), 2 large round tables (seat up to 8 each), 3 small round tables (seat up to 5 each) with 60 chairs. Additional items may be sourced/hired upon request.
• Large whiteboard (2m x 1m) on wheels
• Tripod whiteboard (A1 size)
• 50" television with HDMI cable
• Data projector with collapsible screen (available upon request)
• 6 x 3-seater couches
• 2 x low coffee tables
• Toilets (6 x female, 1 x mens/accessible, 1 x unisex)
• Showers (4 x cubicles)
• Water cooler
• Use of four-burner gas barbecue grill on wheels (provide own gas cylinder)

Downstairs area wheelchair accessible. Stair access to upper level (no internal lift).

Please note:

• Maximum capacity of 150 seated/200 standing within the venue at any one time.
• This venue does not hold a liquor license. Users would need to apply to the Wellington City Council and have a licensed bar manager on site.
• Access to Hataitai Park surrounds is restricted after 10pm as bollards go up on the roadway leading up to the sports grounds. Cars hoping to gain access into or out of the area after this time will need to ring the Council via the number provided on signage at the entrance and will be asked to provide vehicle licence plate details over the phone prior to being granted access.
• We ask that hirers please clean-up afterwards and leave the venue exactly as you found it ie

• - remove all rubbish and leave by outside bins
  - wipe down all used surfaces
  - wash and dry any used dishes/cutlery
  - vacuum the floors
  All cleaning equipment/rubbish bags provided
