Netball Wellington Centre invites coaches to assist with coaching and managing our 2025 representative teams.

Positions within our Representative Team Management are a pathway opportunity for those wishing to further their netball experience as well as those wishing to give back to the netball community at Centre level. We provide an exciting chance to work alongside other experienced individuals while learning from each other. Roles are in a volunteer capacity yet provide a fantastic opportunity to personally develop yourself. Travel and accommodation will be covered for each team management official to attend most away fixtures and tournaments.

We currently seek Assistant Coach applicants for the following two teams:

U16 1st Team (Black): ROLE FILLED
U16 2nd Team (Gold): ROLE FILLED
U18 1st Team (Black): ROLE FILLED
U18 2nd Team (Gold) working with Lead Coach: Sue Geale
Open Grade Team working with Lead Coach: Frances Solia

And Team Manager applications for the following five teams:

U16 1st Team (Black)
U16 2nd Team (Gold)
U18 1st Team (Black)
U18 2nd Team (Gold)
Open Grade Team

Additional possible commitments:

Team fundraising ventures to be confirmed during 2026

Feel free to view our Representative Players Teams and Management Selection Policy if of interest
Consent to police check for successful candidates or proof of one completed in past 12 months
Attend an interview for this position if required
Make yourself available to attend meeting/s prior to and after tryouts/trials
Respond to requests from Netball Wellington Centre in a timely manner
Be open to attending a debrief at the end of the season
