Netball New Zealand requires that their office, Zones and Centres have a minimum level of child safeguarding policies and procedures in place.
It is recommended that Netball clubs follow Netball New Zealand's Safe Netball for Children Policy.
It is acknowledged that schools are governed by their own boards as well as the New Zealand Government’s Child Safeguarding laws and mandates, though many standards within this policy may still be relevant.
