Mama Brown Intermediate Comp Information & Rules
Our Mama Brown Intermediate Comp is organised with an emphasis on providing an opportunity for young players to enjoy netball in the off-season. The Netball Wellington Centre is a keen advocate of fair play and enjoyment through participation and would appreciate if teams could please remember to adopt fair play practices in their games
Games are 40 minutes and are a great way to maintain fitness and build on skills for the upcoming season.
Game times for our Intermediate Comp are 4.00pm and 4.50pm.
Mixed, all-female and all-male teams welcome.
Term 1 incorporates a grade specially for those moving from 6-a-side to 7-a-side netball. Provides a gentle introduction to help them on their merry way ahead of trials for the winter season.
Leagues on offer in 2024 are:
TERM 1 (SUMMER)
Wednesday nights at the Ākau Tangi Sports Centre – 6-week competition starts 14 February to 27 March (NO GAMES Wednesday 20 March – Futsal tournament) – cost $300 – not proceeding due to low numbers.
Thursday nights at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre - 4-week competition starts 15 February to 7 March - Cost $200 - Max teams reached.
Plus $10 CASH ONLY per team, per game, to be collected prior to the game each week as an Umpire Contribution ($60 bulk season).
Registrations closed.
Registrations will close when max capacity reached or on Thursday 8 February.
TERM 4 (SPRING)
Wednesday nights at the Ākau Tangi Sports Centre – 6-week competition starts 23 October to 27 November – cost $300 – 6 teams max.
Thursday nights at the Ākau Tangi Sports Centre – 6-week competition starts 24 October to 28 November - cost $300 – 6 teams max.
Plus $10 CASH ONLY per team, per game, to be collected prior to the game each week as an Umpire Contribution ($60 bulk season).
Registration date TBC.
