Position, Vision & Timing Umpire Workshop

We are excited to announce the first series of umpire workshops for 2025!

These workshops are open to all umpires, regardless of experience level, and we encourage everyone to attend.

Position, Vision & Timing

• Date: Sunday, 2 March 2025
• Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• Location: Hataitai Netball Pavilion

Follow-up Workshop on Position, Vision & Timing

• Date: Saturday, 3 May 2025
• Time: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Location: Ākau Tangi Sports Centre

These workshops will focus on key aspects of umpiring, specifically:

• Position: how to stand and where to place yourself on court
• Vision: what to look for and how to widen your view
• Timing: how to make sure you are in the best place to see the most action at the right time

Further valuable insights will be provided to improve performance on the court.
