Netball Wellington Centre would love to establish a dedicated men's competitive competition. Despite best efforts in past years, uptake has not been as committed as hoped but hoperfully that's all about to change!
Netball Wellington Centre is excited to launch a Pilot Men’s Saturday League for winter 2026
Men’s netball in Pōneke has grown fast, with highlights like the 2026 NZ Men’s Nationals at Ākau Tangi and the success of the Central Zone Tairanga Men’s team. Now it’s time to take the next step.
2026 Competition Details:
• Starts 20 June, runs through August
• 60 minute games
• 2 point shots in the last 5 minutes of each quarter
• Team or individual registrations (16 yrs+)
• Runs 6-8 weeks
• Cost $500 per team

Whether you’re an experienced team or keen to join as an individual - we want you involved. There is also the opportunity for umpires to get involved and broaden their experience with these games. All games played at Ākau Tangi from 3:15pm
