Keen to be a College, Intermediate or 7v7 Head Start Comp Umpire?

Gain practical experience and earn some pocket money in the process...

Our College, Intermediate and 7v7 Head Start Comp are a great way to:

• develop confidence as an advanced Kiwi Whistler
• progress towards Introductory Badge and beyond
• receive feedback from an experienced NWC Umpire Group member
• keep up skills and fitness in the off-season while earning spare cash!

Your games will be observed, feedback will be provided week to week, rule interpretation will be discussed and you will be supported throughout your experience.

Preference given to advanced Kiwi Whistler or Introductory Badge umpires wishing to extend their knowledge and practical experience.

Umpires are allocated to games by the Centre for all games.
Umpire draws will be visible via our Netball Wellington Centre website prior to the game each week.
Umpires will be updated of changes via Sporty push notification or email once finalised.

Umpires kindly receive an Umpire Contribution of $10 per game courtesy of teams you are umpiring.
Please therefore take due care and take your umpire responsiblities seriously:

• come appropriately-dressed: no bare feet, jandals, sandals, chucks, flats or boots - sports shoes only
• bring your own whistle every week
• arrive 10 minutes before your first game starts
• always remain professional and fair when performing umpire duties

If interested in getting involved in this great opportunity and having fun while developing your skills, please email our Community Development Officer on admin@netballwellington.co.nz.
