
Splice Construction Magic- Team Manager
Splice Construction Magic compete in one of the world’s most highly contested netball competitions, the ANZ Premiership, where they proudly represent the Waikato Bay of Plenty region.
In partnership with Netball New Zealand, Splice Construction Magic are seeking a Team Manager who will be responsible for all operational logistics, communications, community engagements, health and safety, and competition management requirements for the team. This role will have a direct report to the Magic Head Coach while also reporting to the Magic General Manager.
Applicants must have experience in managing projects or campaigns or have comparable event management skills. Attention to detail, along with basic administration and financial management skills are a requirement as well as excellent communication skills and your ability to meet tight timelines whilst under pressure. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google documents and Teams technology is essential.
Applicants should be self-motivated, action oriented, dynamic, and agile. The successful applicant should have a good understanding of sport and be empathetic to the challenges of high-performance environments.
This role will work across multiple relationships, from players and coaches to sponsors and various external stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills that generate mutual trust and respect are essential.
