Paralympics New Zealand (PNZ) is the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) for New Zealand. PNZ is part of a worldwide social change movement, which uses the power of sport to positively influence community perceptions of disabled people and to promote a more diverse and inclusive society.
PNZ supports and celebrates the achievements of Para athletes at international and national competitions all year round. Every two years, PNZ leads the New Zealand Paralympic Team to the Paralympic Games. We also work PNZ members, key stakeholders and partners, to advocate for sport to become more accessible for disabled people and to support the creation of more systems and programmes to enable participation in Para sport.
The Board Appointment Panel is interested in hearing from interested applicants with governance experience, and a strong affinity to disability sport and equity for all, to fill up to three (3) elected positions. Additionally, of particular interest are applicants with extensive experience in Para sport and disability sport, finance, government/public sector, or revenue generation/philanthropy.
To apply, please complete the Application Form on our website and attach a copy of your CV outlining your experience, skills and expertise which you will bring to the Board of Paralympics New Zealand. The closing date for applications is 5pm Tuesday 5th November 2024
