Satellites: Year 7&8 Player Development Programme (PDP)

A fantastic accelerated opportunity to improve your netball skills!

Year 7&8 rep teams disbanded in 2018... now we throw the doors open to welcome a wide array of girls & boys of any skill level to benefit from a Player Development Programme (PDP).

Player development opportunity

This Netball New Zealand endorsed programme is full of technical and tactical elements of netball, athlete development and fundamental movement skills. It is fun and engaging and focused on developing a life-long love of netball while making new friends along the way.​

Two themes - content alternates yearly to avoid repetition
Attend in Year 7 + Year 8 to expand your skillset further!

Final FunFest game day for all three satellites combined to put skills into practice.
​​​​​​​Hosted at Hataitai Netball Courts.

    • Pick up fresh ideas for future trainings and team development

    Umpire development opportunity

    • More practical experience for Kiwi and Adult Whistlers
    • Put knowledge into practice during FunFest game day - up to five games (short halves)
    • Time for umpire mentors and coaches to observe and practice providing feedback.
