Netball Northern Zone is recruiting performance netball coaches for the following positions for the 2021/2022 season.

• Northern Marvels Head Coach
• Northern Marvels Assistant Coach
• Northern Zone Coach Development Opportunities

These coaching roles are aligned with the Northern Zone's performance coaching strategy and succession planning.   All coaches appointed into these roles will have the support of the Northern Zone High Performance Coach Developer to help improve their coaching practice and knowledge.

The key outcomes of the Northern Zone's performance coaching strategy are:

1. Individual athlete development and campaign success is aligned between the Northern Mystics and the Northern Marvels programmes, and the relationship between the two squads is developed collaboratively.
2. The Zone has the best intent to purposefully succession plan for the future of the Mystics coaching staff. This will therefore be a major focus in the recruitment for the Northern Marvels Coaches and the Northern Zone Coach Development Opportunities.  
3. Individual Athlete Development for elite level netball is the primary aim of the Northern Marvels programme and squad selection. The outcome of the campaign is still important yet will not take precedence over successful individual athlete development for elite level netball in the future.

The Northern Marvels Head Coach is always appointed for a period of 2 years, pending a comprehensive review after year one.  Any other coaching roles are appointed for one year.
