Sports Partner Liaison - NZ Masters Games (closes 20 Mar 2022)


Be part of delivering New Zealand's longest running and largest multisport event. New Zealand Masters Games is looking for an energetic project manager/coordinator with excellent relationship and planning skills and an extremely good eye for detail to become our Sports Partner Liaison.  

The next Masters Games will take place in Whanganui in February 2023. The Sports Partner Liaison has a key role, working with the Games Manager, event team and sports partners to create an experience that competitors find easy, enjoyable, and memorable. 

The Sports Partner Liaison: 

  • works with codes and clubs to coordinate the sports programme that resonates with the competitors and maximises opportunities for participation.
  • assist codes and clubs with planning, promoting, and delivering their sporting fixture to meet Masters Games sports event standards.
  • collaborates with event team colleagues to match volunteers, and coordinate medal ceremonies, and deliver the 2023 Masters Games.

 

This position is part-time fixed term from May 2022 to March 2023.
