We are looking for a Future Director - could this be you?

• Can you successfully communicate and engage with key decision-makers and leaders?
• Do you have an ambition to make a difference through governance but don't yet have the experience?

The Sport New Zealand Board is looking to appoint two Board internships, commencing early in 2023, for a period of 18 months.  

Some prior experience will be required and the opportunity over 18 months will help you become "board ready".

Besides the criteria mentioned above, the successful individual will be able to demonstrate:

• The ability to listen with an open and curious approach
• Contribute to discussions and constructively debate your viewpoints
• A capacity to understand trends & issues, and their likely implications, for the sport and recreation sector
• A values alignment with Sport New Zealand.

This is not a paid position, but all expenses will be covered. Support will be provided to undergo additional training and development.
