Fulltime, 12 months Fixed Term

Employed by NNZ, this role will work as part of the regional delivery team across Mainland’s 16 Netball Centres, and approximately 23,000 players, coaches, and technical officials. 

The key purpose of this role is to:

• The Participation Lead will work predominantly to build capability of the Netball delivery network, including Centre staff and volunteers who support and deliver programmes for participants with a focus on tamariki (futureFERNS) and rangatahi.
• Capture local insights including Voice of the Participant and membership data. Analyse/utilise this data in supporting programme development and Centre annual plans.
• Support the activation of NNZ Junior and Youth Strategy programmes and initiatives within the Netball delivery network.

We are seeking someone with experience in sport or Netball development, preferably with a focus on growing and retaining participation. Experience working in grass roots sport, specifically Netball, delivering and coordinating programmes would be advantageous.

Building strong relationships and the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders by sharing relevant information and identifying and dealing with issues effectively are key skills sets.
